Gary Moore’s Takamine J-15E Electro-Acoustic

My first and only acoustic guitar! Throughout all my years of playing I have never owned an acoustic. When I saw Gary’s Takamine from the 80’s was available at Bonham’s auction, I just had to buy it! It’s a beautiful instrument with an amazing history. Perhaps its most famous for being used on ‘Johnny Boy’ but I suspect this guitar was used for various recordings of the acoustic parts of Gary’s 80’s ‘rock’ albums. For example the bridge section on Empty Rooms (Run for Cover version) sounds exactly like it was recorded on this guitar.
